I mean I get that it is for the plot and the writing is nave as well, but it just got too dark too fast. It felt like the time kelsier died in mist born. There the death was just so sudden and I guess effortless from the perspective of the antagonist (which served to show just how powerful he was defeating the strongest character we knew then). But at least the death was while fighting against one of the big bass. Here it seems so much worse. The way of death is just futile I guess and this is after we got to know the character. Still thanks for the great chapter. It actually got me choked up. Hoping for some massive character building now.

Yes short chapters will get you more views in the short term, but it will most likely decrease the quality of the chapter due to being broken down which in the end will result in a lower ranking. Also no reader likes the chapters that end in just a couple of scrolls. the range of 3k to 5k is just perfect.

they have been saved. its just a few bodies disfigured so badly by the lannister bannermen that they are completely unrecogniseable.
