Not sure if you've seen what I mentioned before, but this is an AU. I'm not following the story at all. Much of this is just the timeline and my imagination. as of right now, the plot is very flawed, and i acknowledge that. But this is just the beginning of the series. This story is about Erza, that's our main character. And she's only just starting school because she's been trained by her clan her entire life. I've already mentioned this in chapter 1-2.

i think you're reading it too deep, she's 12. Although she is an assassin, there wasn't any mentioning of her being a highly trained one with years of experience. Despite even if she did, anyone at a young age if flawed inevitably.
