Thanks for the update. I've missed this story! I'm happy with the choice of Princess Maegelle as his wife. King Jaehaerys will be unpleasantly surprised when the MC comes back from Valyria and I can't wait to read that.

I would prefer the MC marry a Targaryen. King Jehaerys and Queen Alyssane had many children, many of which were daughters I think. Galladon marrying a Targaryen will tie him closer to the politics of the realm which I think is great because the reign of Jehaerys the First was politically heavy and any changes is bound to have far reaching consequences.

I knew that half brother was up to no good. I'm guessing the MC will seek to secure his legacy now.
