Quicklime is basically a smokescreen, courtesy of Google AI.
The defenders of the city were readying themselves for battle atop the wall. Quivers of arrows were placed along the battlements, the siege engines were being loaded with heavy projectiles, fire burned beneath steel vats where quicklime pots were being heated, ready to be thrown at the enemies below.

I think it was mentioned that he completed the second nightmare near the beginning of volume 8.

It was the first time in decades humanity lost a Citadel to Nightmare Creatures. Things like that used to happen often before, in the early years of the Nightmare Spell, but for as long as Sunny could remember, human territories in the Dream Realm had only expanded… not shrunk.

I’m curious as to what rank this seed is. If it’s category 3, then Sunny could send Rain’s cohort to conquer it. If it’s category 2, than probably one of the Shadow Clan members who are still awakened. If Rain’s cohort ends up going into it and doesn’t end up taking Sunny’s role, I’d like a POV of their reactions seeing the true “Master Sunless” lol.
What was the Rank of that Seed? Were Awakened meant to challenge it to become Masters, or were Masters meant to challenge it to become Saints? Either way, it did not seem fair… Sunny had been a Master during the Chain of Nightmares, but even he was surprised sometimes at the fact that he had survived.
