For the next couple of days, nothing too exciting happened besides Aurora asking Max to sleep inside the tent on chilly nights, which happened one or two other times. Like Bonny had stated, nights and days were starting to get slightly colder, meaning that fall wasn't very far away. Aurora was still quite distant towards Max, but a bit friendlier with the few interactions they had. With their usual schedule back to normal again, Max and Co. were slowly progressing to Corsocoast. Also, cryokenisis is control over ice/ cold temps, geokenisis is earth/ rocks, and along with psycokenisis comes telekinesis which is to manipulate objects in ways similar to as if you had hands that could reach really far

Heart melted is when someone shares a story or moment with makes you feel either sorry for them or warm inside, while a spear piercing your heart just means straight up distraught and sad

Then, at the sight of the attacker, Max could have wet himself if it wasn't for the fact that he just emptied his bladder. He wasn't seeing very well due to the darkness of the night, but the little he could see, thanks to moonlight, and in front of the tree, was a black and red-furred creature that almost cut the tree in half with three huge claw marks on it. Turning towards him, the red-maned creature was facing him with the most menacing gaze he ever saw in his entire life, with her eyes almost glowing in the dark. Pretty sure that just evaporating seawater does give salt, although I think it has lots of impurities
