In this book, Chloé and Kemal have a forbidden love that ends up leading to marriage and to them having a child. They seem to be living the dream, until Kemal begins transforming into a bloodthirsty-vampire. They had both known that he was from a family of bloodthirsty-vampires, but he had never had that hunger for blood before, and so they had thought that he had lucked out and would never start wanting blood. To say that Kemal becoming a bloodthirsty-vampire turns their lives into a living hell would not be much of an understatement, and Chloé eventually takes their child and separates from him. She still loves him though, and she has hope that they will be able to find a cure for him so that she can have the Kemal who she loves back. Will they manage to find a cure, or has their formerly-happy home been forever destroyed by Kemal’s unwanted thirst for blood? I highly recommend this book, and I also recommend reading Visionary Wolves, which is in the same world as this story. So far, I’ve completed the first 26 chapters of this book, and I very much look forward to finding out how the rest of the story goes!
This is a very entertaining book that keeps the reader’s attention very well and has intriguing characters who develop very well as the story goes along. The villain is quite formidable, and the way the the visionary wolves team up with Selene to fight against him is very clever. The ending gives good closure, but also makes the reader curious to know more stories from this universe. Luckily!, Ramsey Alpha Blood Cure will be out soon! (and is probably already out by the time that you’re reading this review), which means that more reading from this universe is indeed available! I highly recommend this book, and look forward to reading Ramsey Alpha Blood Cure!…
