Exactly, You are right but a normal-run-of-the-mill-slime with no consciousness was able to evolve up to Demon slime, which is probably the most unique slime in this whole world (That is if you don't count the games and specials, which I absolutely ignore, they are abomination, I say, Ahem-) Think about it, going through this logic, It should be more surprising that he was able to evolve that much in the first place, well, I can give you multiple reason in the story of how that came to be but Long story short, I had to tweak the story a little bit from the start so that somethings make sense in the long run. Rimuru is the Original Main character. But Hiiro is the Sub-MC that is created in order to alter the Story. But they are Equal to be honest and this term MC will slowly diminish in the story's future. I mean, what does being a Main character in a story actually mean? Story is wrote around him, OR Story follows him OR Story is written as he gains achievement. There are many ways to take this so, In my opinion and If I had the Power, I would like to make more than one MC, I really don;t like the story where the whole premise is build up around one character. No, It will change depending on the Situation and also there is a small purpose behind the POVs, If you are reading in Rimuru's POV, it means I will be mainly focusing on the events that are in the Original Novels but if there is another POV or Third Person Narrating then that means It is a new plot, story, character added by me. It is not consistent yet because well, the new characters have to be introduced to Rimuru and Rimuru has the most screen time as well as POVs so, you know. But anyways, Rimuru's POV will start to decrease a lot in the future because lots of new things are coming..

Yes, But you see if I had to compare, Veldora and Milim are the most 'Kindest'. Well, kind term, to be honest can't be used on them but still there is no other appropriate word because compared to other Dragons, they are much more gullible and won't act unless provoked first. Same thing for that Human Village and Demon Lord Luminous's , there was a reason as well as an innocent mistake behind them, and trust me we are talking about a dragon here, If he had sneezed or two, he could have destroyed a few cities. I don;t want to give you too much of a spoiler but I tend to draw inspiration from the WN and LN so, do read them if you have time, you won;t be dissapointed.🕊️

In terms of Status, Hiiro is Equal to Rimuru but Hiiro doesn't see it that way because of His inferiority complex(to a certain extent) so for him, Rimuru is always greater than him and made for something bigger than himself, But in terms of Power level, I'll be frank, Yes, Hiiro will be always weaker. If I had to compare He is placed Third in Ranking of Power in the village. And it will continue to decrease, but there is a much more behind this. For now I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Hm, I think you meant the off-spin where Clayman reincarnates or something, Yeaaaahhhhh, Um, They're kind of boring So, I just skip most of them. I mean, In some of them there's a bunny girl, Recap episodes (Slime Diaries or Whatever), and also I think there is also one where Rimuru has a daughter, for goodness sakes and so on & so forth. I only read the OG WN, LN, & Manga. But like you said there were so many things that couldn't be possible so, I had to downgrade Hikari by so so much from my initial draft that if you read the original draft you'd be shocked by how pathetically weak she is right now compared to her OP self in the OG Draft. Anyways, I had to discard all of that and write from scratch so, its taking a while to publish new chapters.

I'll give you a very small spoiler. So, I might delete this later. At first, the plan was to make Hikari so powerful that at the moment Rimuru couldn't even hold a candle to her but the problem was How to achieve that but anyways after that she would be the most terrifying persona in the city much like Diablo right now, and after some time at one of the important twists , I was planning on just killing her altogether along with most of residents, I won't say how, though. My intrusive thoughts wanted to make her that much OP. So, her power levels are kind of degraded to match the story at the moment but I'll tell you this in advance she won't always be like this. (P.S. I hate how powerful Diablo is but doesn't utilizes it properly or speaks up even though he has the intelligence to do so. He is clearly the most powerful one amongst the 12 Guardians or the Dungeon itself. I mean he is the Noir Black, just like Red, also known as Guy Crimson for goodness sakes. )
