Love this story!
I think he meant 'had' in this case. Probably in regards to the Horcrux in Bellatrix's Vault.
Thief. This is not an original work. NikaTheHonoredOne stole this from the original author, Oghenevwogaga, who uploaded it on both spacebattles and fanfiction.net under the title, "Gamer of the Desert". Links to it can be found here- https://www.fanfiction.net/s/14211633/1/Gamer-of-The-Desert, and https://forums.spacebattles.com/threads/gamer-of-the-desert.1080300/. Have some dignity and try and write your own work instead of leeching off of someone else.
Pretty decent story. The only thing I would really say is bothersome would be the sentient system. These can be done well and this story doesn't abuse it to the point of ruining the story, but it does seem overdone at times. Having the MC figure things out on their own such as figuring out why his stats were raising on their own would have been a more poignant moment, but having the system just tell him kind of undercut that possibility. Other than that, maybe dragging the introduction between the Astral Crew and the MC would have been better. It just felt too quick. Good story overall though.
Was Remus that bad? From what I remember, he was a more tragic figure. I might be misremembering though; it has been a while since I played through the Remuria story.
To be fair, while Wood Style is strong, it was Hashirama that made it so overpowering. Just Wood Style alone is a decent Kekkai Genkai unless you are GOAT-irama himself, that is.
Would he at this time? I feel like maybe after regaining his full Elemental Authority, but before that seems like a bit of stretch to say that he is 'easily' surpassing most of the Archons. If so, I doubt the Tsaritsa would have deployed Arlecchino alone since only Rank 3 and up are considered to rival Archons in power.
Thanks!
So true. I think they can be done well, but instead of being interesting characters on concepts, they just become ways to dump exposition or talk about abilities in detail without just having someone say it. So much wasted potential, honestly.
The curse of the hyper-specialist. In the right situation, they can punch above their weight-class. However, if they meet someone who is better than them in their specialty or just nullify their advantage somehow, they are basically dead in the water.
