Low-key expected this to be another cliche, then I remembered I don't even read system based stories all that often. This one has a definitive hook within the first page and it keeps on flowing. Seriously, it never takes a pause but it gives me enough room to take a breather, y'know? Most MCs die to a truck, this guy died to a girl, which already puts this novel on a completely separate tier entirely. Only reason why I haven't given it a perfect 5 stars yet is because of the world background lacking more sensory details, but it's no so lacking that you won't know where you are High grade read, definitely recommend you check it out!

Not gonna lie, didn't know what to expect when I jumped into this novel. I usually have a knack for predicting where a novel will take me based on the first chapter, but the first line alone told me "Nah, you don't know anything" Good things first. The story actively progresses. It doesn't stay in the same place for more than half a chapter and it creates problems to solve in the future. The MC may not be your typical anti-hero and that's a breath of fresh air. You don't have to like him but you have to understand him and I've yet to understand why he does the things he does. Bad things. Grammar. You knew this was coming. Use Grammarly to fix that. It's free and if you have a PC, it's easier to use there. Pacing felt a little bit too quick. Like, within the first 5 chapters, it runs purely on chaos. That's like listening to Punk Rock and injecting it into your veins. Hopefully your future chapters fix this Overall, this feels like it's trying to be grimdark but I'm leaning more on splatterpunk because of the opening line. That is mad concerning but it leaves room for more expectations from the novel solid read, would read again for sure
