"I want to destroy House Wane, brick by brick, inch by inch, until there is nothing left except ashes.! " Aaaaa that was my favourite line in the entire novel for now. That was villain energy right there he he. A new concept, and I like the way it was executed. I am glad that author did not immediately make Xen into a cold shell. Bro is learning and adapting and yes, he is not gonna forgive. But while I like that ruthless phase I also hope Xen can find some real comrades this time, I mean he now has Quill and Hael...and more. And the way he ignored his past life lover, yeah that was the best revenge in that situation. Honesty I like the new concept, the transmigrator is the antagonist while the protagonist tries to reclaim the story. And it will be so good if the MC has to face off against the author in the future. Also will there be any romance author? Aaaa I want my queen Zenith to be fl if there is.
This chap is best
A total of five stars from me! At first, judging by the opening chapters, I thought this was going to be a simple slice-of-life comedy novel. Despite the village massacre, the interactions between Kaiser and Noel are so cute. Noel is a retired villain who knows everything except how to raise a kid, which is hilarious. I had fun reading those parts and assumed it was just a comedy, so I wasn’t prepared when Chapter 7 hit. The action scenes were well-written, and honestly, Noel is still very much a villain despite being retired, maybe just a little duller (just tired) now. The way he destroyed the killer really hooked me; it was totally cruel. The characters are lovable, especially Kaiser, I love him so much! Since the title mentions 'seven misfits,' I’m hoping the other kids will be just as lovable. The story has depth and the world-building is solid, but I would love for the author to include an extra chapter describing the magic system; that would be very helpful. Overall, this is a great read if you enjoy slice-of-life and comedy mixed with intense action."
damn
Author update more. You are so slow
I also have same idea.
I started reading this story expecting a funny landlord comedy, but it turned into so much more. The MC is just some tired office worker who almost dies, gets saved by a goddess, and is forced to become the landlord of a building where each apartment connects to a different world. His tenants include a dragon kid who ages backward and eats chocolate now, an ice queen cultivation prodigy who's secretly lonely, a literal talking cardboard box, and a plant that blushes at him. The story balances humor really well with darker moments, and there are actual mysteries that make you want to keep reading. Chapter 1 is a bit slow with setup, but it picks up fast after that. If you like ordinary characters thrown into chaos, weird but lovable characters, and slow-burn mysteries, give this a shot. Xue Lin is goat really! But Blaze the dragon kid is the best boy. So far my favourite is him. 8/10 from me.
