Absolutely loving this so far. The psychology of someone who is extremely strong willed and driven but also traumatised and has their own flaws is perfectly shown and balanced. This is something I've only ever seen in GuiltyThree's books and feel that it adds so much more weight to every other part of the whole.

Nah he verry explicitly said that he'd ALWAYS be following. That's different from saying he'd be following until he skills up to the point of being able to do his own thing if he so wished.

It's fire. Atticus' story went from good to great since the author was still getting into it. This simply starts off amazingly. Clear motivation, unique world, interesting characters and a main character who's a genius.
