It's sad though, I wish it hadn't been this way. If you have multifaceted characters, the editors reject you for being "too complicated". Nobody reads to think anymore but to be pampered, to feel good about themselves and their moral standing. So don't pretend otherwise I guess is what I'm saying
But isn't it what you all want from a typical webnovel with a clear villain to hate on?
Karl doesn’t read like a middle aged man despite atrophied muscles though. So far he seems too callow too idealistic for his age
