It's not about introducing one in every chapter, it's about creating a scenario and emphasizing the roles of important characters. The scenarios do not depend on length but on how you show them.

You need to show their journey. You need to write scenarios or situations of them spending time together. Like: A year earlier, the FL was assigned in a mission by the academy, coincidentally she met the ML who was performing another mission. Two teams suddenly decided to merge... Then write how they interacted. From what I read, the ML was cold and distant before reading the book of prophecy, while the FL admired him. The FL wants to fix the marriage first. (There was no direct connection between them or interaction. There's only WHAT IF inside the FL's brain.) Then here comes the ML, after reading the book of prophecy and having visions... he suddenly barged into the FL's life and made a promise. Then the FL reacted in a way that's positive. (You could have created a scene, an accident, an encounter, that will make them close... then make that span into chapters as an event, before jumping into the main scene of promising each other.)

Do not limit one event to one chapter only, make it continuously aligned with the next chapter. There are events that will last for a few chapters, example: a war, you can't write a war in one chapter. Or an adventure, you can't have an adventure in one day. Make sure every event has a GOAL or an objective. What does the ML need to accomplish in this part of the story? And when you write business plans, there should be: - Why the character needs this - What is the goal of the character - How will the people around the character react to this - How detailed is the plan, like an actual business plan - Who are the people involved in the production - Materials to use, do they have an extraordinary characteristic? Like magic? Use markers to indicate that it is the start of the next scene. You can refer to time, like day and night. - The next morning... - A week later... - Later that night...

Thank you for your review, I'll finish this book. What I mean in my post was that I will discontinue writing my old books since I have forgotten about them, so don't worry.

I suggest you edit the chapters and proofread them before publishing. Some "..." conversations are in bold text. The scenes shifted from the arrival of his friends to them having conversations, from one gossip to business, but to ask what we think about them... they are good at conversations. There's no description about their individual lives, characteristics, or a show of their behaviors. So... I don't know about the others.

You can limit the words you write: 1000 - 1099 per chapter. And there should be scene variations. If you write a back story, side story, or random flashback/ futuristic vision, try to occupy the whole chapter. Refrain from bridging different scenarios in one chapter.

The connection between the ML and FL is unstable. It all started with their marriage. Then we jumped to the ML knowing his end, as well as his wife. Then it jumped to them trying to fix their relationship. It seems too rushed at this point, but the flow is understandable.

I hope you can bridge the chapters smoothly. You can edit the details and make the flow less jumpy...

The Bigshot's Superstar Wife

Athena, Earth’s most glamorous lone assassin and the seal bearer of the Death Goddess, met her end on her final mission. She succeeded in eliminating the world’s most powerful Mafia leader with her bare hands, but it came at the ultimate cost, her life. Or so she thought. Instead of the eternal rest she expected, Athena’s soul transmigrated into the body of Athena Demerin, a rising celebrity in the Interstellar Era of the Andromeda Galaxy. As the cherished granddaughter of the Northern Duke on planet Asenus, the original Athena had strived to carve out her own path to stardom without leaning on her family’s immense power. But ambition came with a heavy price. She died from exhaustion… or so the official story claimed. The truth? Someone orchestrated her death. Now, the new Athena has inherited not only this body but its unresolved mysteries. Determined to unravel the secrets behind the original Athena's death and fulfill her dreams, she must also navigate a world of fame, family legacies, and interstellar intrigue. But life throws her another curveball, a marriage to Major General Mors Jericho, the galaxy’s most brilliant young warrior. Revered by millions, he is admired for his strength, intelligence, and commanding presence. Yet beneath the surface of this union lies a web of secrets that could shift the balance of power across the galaxy. As she uncovers the truth behind the forces conspiring against her, Athena must confront her own feelings about Mors. Can a marriage built on duty transform into love? Or will her husband turn out to be her greatest adversary? Will she follow her heart, carve her own destiny, or succumb to the shadows of her past?
