As it was mentioned below. Yes and no. The breathing styles in Kimetsu use spiritual energy (At least here). As for why even without it Velvet managed to improve so much... It wasn't really a huge improvement. Devas was strong before learning Sun Breathing, but when he did, it was like a qualitative leap in everything; in his first 'correct' use of it, he broke the sound barrier. Velvet already had Aura before using it and even then she 'only' broke the sound barrier and almost died in the process.

It's going to take some time. I'm using this bow to prepare Devas. Yes and no. The 'sense' that the VoidBag gives is not entirely 'correct,' as Devas comments. Some things are fuzzy, blurry, it would be like vision problems without glasses. Only with Devas' normal senses can he react much more quickly to everything.
