Derrick is your typical fictional fanboy who enjoys playing video games and reading comics of all kinds regardless of what ganre it may be, if he finds its interesting then he'll invest his time to understand it the character, story and general history of the works he's indulging in... Derrick was on his hospital bed in a private hospital, suffering from the early stages of covid 19 and when he was stable enough he would play his favorite games , prototype 1 and 2, this franchise was his favorite due to the main character and his viral abilities. He would fantasize about how he would have pushed the blacklight virus further than Mercer or heller ever could and little did he know his fantasy would become reality as he a fell into a deep sleep never to wake up in the same world and as the same person ever again... When he would open his eyes again he'll realize he's in the world of his dreams and has the chance to finally live out he's fantasy as the new blacklight virus... Fellow Derrick in his journey of power and evolution as the new apex predator..
