I don’t understand the hype about this novel, it isn’t exactly unique and ‘out of the box’ since it still has the same tropes as any other cultivation novels. It’s honestly mediocre at best. The MC believes that he can out do the female protagonist by doing nothing and following along her tracks but this is the irony of it since he always becomes a target despite ‘doing nothing’. My biggest problem with the novel is the jumbled paragraphs that make zero sense. There is a huge lack of logic within the story; you almost have to turn your brain off to fully enjoy it. Anyways 3/5 stars.
