Lies that's the sort of mindset that makes shows for everyone, but what it ultimately does is make them for no one, as there is no show that's for everyone. You can target a specific demographic, but it has to be targeted to them and then other people can join in on that, but you have to target the biggest potential demographic that will like the show or movie for example, Barbie was marketed towards women. Was there guys that saw it yes but its target demographic was 100% women never try to market to everyone. It never works out.
