Something I do agree with you on is Pirate of the Caribbean 5 sucked it was just a bad film and the new people they introduced sucked. I still think you could make a new Pirate of the Caribbean film which is good in a hypothetical reality where you got Johnny Depp back I guess.

I don't 100% agree with you on that one taking your example the Pirates of the Caribbean films was never going to be brilliant revolutionizing films its just a fun movie to watch it also wouldn't hurt the brand as the brand is just a theme park with a bit of Johnny Depp fun so there is no brand to begin with sort of the same thing Fast and Furious has done they're just fun movies to enjoy.
