With a nod to Jake, Kael gathered his belongings – his tool belt, his worn gloves, and his battered hard hat. The symphony of construction sounds gradually receded as workers started to disperse. Kael's footsteps were heavy as he made his way through the maze of scaffolding and unfinished walls.

love the story has great descriptive moments the plot is well balanced although 3 prologue is new to me i was planning just to skip it and head to the chapter but i'm glad i didn't do that cause it was a great beginning for the main character im on the last chapter right now i look forward to your next chapter
