Personally it’s up to you and your story, not every novel is the same. Personally my novel averages about 2,000 words per chapter, but I do what feels right to me.

Of course. I definitely noticed some issues, but they didn’t detract too much from the story. Honestly I’d suggest just reread the book and find any spelling errors or punctuation mistakes. You might find some sentences that you don’t like how they read anymore. Just because you posted it doesn’t you can’t tweak errors, I do that in my book all the time!

Overall it’s hard to say too much about the quality of this book since it’s so early on, but I’m interested! The writing is lax, which will be appealing for some readers and less so for others. The characters and where they’re going has left me intrigued, and I think it’s worth giving this a read on that alone!

The main characters in this story are written to be packed with emotion, the world they inhabit and the conflicts they face are well worth giving this book a read!

Of the books I’m reading on Webnovel this is easily one of my favorites, the suspenseful atmosphere and mysteries to unravel gripped me. I absolutely love where this novel is going and eagerly await more. High recommend, a breath of fresh air.

I appreciate the review! I am curious how far into the book you got though, since I’ve tried to make it clear that despite being a criminal Scott isn’t evil. Chapter 6 explores what you mentioned about him trying to be good but turning to crime.
