I kind of already realized that after I'd memorized the Wiki article on her. It was sort of like character development for me. Both me and MC severely underestimated Misaki. We both viewed her through the lens of a Toaru fan. She doesn't stand a chance against the likes of Accel, Kakine, or even Misaka. MO is not flashy and strong in terms of destructive capability but in its utility. It is quite possibly one of the best mental abilities out there. Could probably solo the entire mha verse with it. Heck, unless I cook something up. The story would end at the USJ arc. Just hypnotize Shigaraki and turn the nomu into paper mache. So yeah, aware the main selling point of the story doesn't really apply now. Glowing guy, MC, and I didn't do their research and now have to deal with overpowered psychic powers in the world that has really awful power scaling.

Since MHA has no esper program in its world a catalyst was needed to manifest MO. The catalyst is the quirk. It's a quirk that gives the user the esper ability of Misaki, exactly as it was portrayed. Erasure works on it. It can stop MO from activating. As for AFO, it doesn't work. Glowing Guy specifically made it that way.

I think you give me too much credit. You put more thought into that review than I did into the story tbh. Nevertheless, the compliments are appreciated. After I'm done establishing the new fic, I'll be back to finish up the quirk apprehension test arc.
