How is life like a painting? In painting terms, it means: you can always paint over it, add to it, change it, and play with it! Just like painting, life is very forgiving, it will always keep giving us opportunities to right our 'wrongs', which means to come back to balance, come back to harmony with life.

What does it mean life is like a game? Just like a board game, there are rules and objectives and different ways to “win” in life. The game board is your environment, and the playing piece is you. Also like a game, winning at life is not about a single roll of the die or draw of the card. It's a cumulative process, with ups and downs.

What does it mean that life is like a book? Life is like a book, never know the next chapter It's like a blank book in which we can write our experiences in depending on what we chose to do. It's an analogy, not reality. A book has a beginning (we are born), a middle (middle age) and an end (death). Each chapter of our lives contains things that happened to us; for example: Chapter 14: First Love.

You can't have your cake and eat it (too) is a popular English idiomatic proverb or figure of speech. The proverb literally means "you cannot simultaneously retain possession of a cake and eat it, too".

“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get.” –Forrest Gump. This classic movie has captured all our hearts, and it is likely that we can all relate to this movie in some way or another.

hen life gives you lemons, make lemonade is a proverbial phrase used to encourage optimism and a positive can-do attitude in the face of adversity or misfortune. Lemons suggest sourness or difficulty in life; making lemonade is turning them into something positive or desirable.

Behind every fledgling fiction writer is an author who inspired them to write. It’s a magical process when you first transcend your everyday world and enter the reality of a great writer’s imagination. We all have that pivotal moment when we decide to be a magician and conjure up worlds that live on in a reader’s mind.

Every person I meet seems to be a “wannabe writer.” They want to be a writer, but their actions don’t align with their goals. They are bemoaning their fate that they don’t have the time to sit down and create their bestselling novel. Writing takes dedication and hours of practice before your prose can shine, and your characters gain flesh enough to climb into a reader’s hearts.

Most people know how to write words in a meaningful way, so it stands to reason that writing fiction should be easy, right? Wrong. Writing fiction well is downright tricky, or at least writing fiction that grips the reader and sells.

When a full Moon occurs at the closest point to Earth during its orbit, it appears larger and brighter, becoming what is commonly known as a 'supermoon'. A supermoon is widely recorded as being much larger and far brighter than the Moon on any other night.

Thank you man: Nice quote, thats why i relpy: “I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way.” – Pablo Neruda

do you guys remember this quote: “From the moment we are born, the world tends to have a box already built for us to fit inside. Our umbilical cord never seems to be severed; we only find new needs to fill. If we disconnected and severed our attachments, would we shatter our confinements and expand beyond our shell? Would the world look different? Would we recognize ourselves? Are we the box that we are inside, and to be authentically ‘un-contained’ would we still be able to exist? This is the irony of containment. As long as we don’t push on the walls of our surroundings, we may never know how strong we really are.” ~ Paige Bradley

Short Version: Stop scrolling through reviews and just go read the novel! Long Version: I'll start off by saying that this novel is simply amazing. Stories like this are what keeps me from just deleting the app due to the sheer number of unreadable nonsense it has. Now for an actual breakdown: Writing Quality - The quality is simply top-notch. No grammatical mistakes, clear and concise sentences that flow into each other beautifully, as well as smooth transitions between different points throughout the story. It's obvious that the author has improved in this regard by quite a bit, compared to his first novel (Lightning is the Only Way), which was already incredible by Webnovel standards. Story Development - The novel is slow-paced for the most part, and especially at the beginning, but I find that positive in this case, since we get a better look at the struggles Alex (later Shang) has to go through to adapt to a completely new reality where his life is constantly on the line. There are eventual time skips in the story, which are unavoidable simply due to the fact that you can't become a Sword God without hundreds (quite possibly thousands at this rate) years of training. Character Design - This is the biggest reason for this novel's success. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is fleshed out in such detail that it wouldn't surprise me if the author one day revealed he has been studying the human mind for over 100 years. As for Shang himself, the many hardships he has gone through and the eventual revelation that he is, for reasons I obviously won't mention here, the enemy of the world (Opposer vibes 😉), have made him resolved to do whatever it takes to reach his goal. He will sacrifice anything and anyone for power. Updating Stability - Not much to say here. 2 chapters a day plus the fact that the author is an absolute legend. Broke both his arms at some point and somehow still pushed out chapters until he was eventually forced to take a small break. World Background - We get a basic understanding of how the world works and how the mages have complete rule over it early in the story and get more and more pieces of information in regards to the powers they wield, as well as the nature of the world itself, as the story progresses. Admittedly, there have been a few instances where the author goes into too much detail about something that isn't really relevant, but that isn't nearly enough to make the story less enjoyable, at least for me.

When, in disgrace with fortune and men’s eyes, I all alone beweep my outcast state, And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries, And look upon myself and curse my fate, Wishing me like to one more rich in hope, Featured like him, like him with friends possessed, Desiring this man’s art and that man’s scope, With what I most enjoy contented least; Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising, Haply I think on thee, and then my state, (Like to the lark at break of day arising From sullen earth) sings hymns at heaven’s gate; For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

"He’s more myself than I am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same. If all else perished, and he remained, I should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger." - Wuthering Heights

A gust of cobalt blue winds grace her face Brazen black hair outshines cerculean sky She that dances forth with such princess grace As if she were angel about to fly And the woven gleam from those big blue eyes Her luscious lips a tantalizing treat Holding her so very tight as red sun dies I pray true love never know its defeat Her smile, beautiful as a floating swan She that walks with the air of princess divine She my Bathsheba I her loving Khan And our life, our love making tis so fine On silken sheets our bed bursts into flames. Our life is true grand, as we play no games.
