The truth is, if you removed the ranged weapons of the space Marines, you would need an entire legion of over 100,000 of them to take on the basic, normal military forces of any nation in the Overlord universe. A space marine is a basic, dimmy human soldier in that universe. That would be, if you left them with their power armor at that. As OP, as everyone thinks the warhammer universe is, it's really not that OP compared to some of the other universes, especially in anime. A lot of the fans even talk about how the Chaos Gods are infinite in power. Yet, they seem to be confined to a single Galaxy. In another universe, confined to a single world. They've actually done a crossover between the chaos gods and DND. The chaos gods are minor lords in the (Abyss). Emphasis on minor.

Other than special abilities like spitting acid, the ability to put themselves into suspended animation and accelerated healing and clotting blood. The average space marine isn't that far away from the average human in the Overlord universe. The average human in the Overlord universe is almost on par with the MCU version of Captain America. Without power armor, which increases a space marine's physical baseline, strength, and baseline speed. They're actually about 5 miles slower than the MCU version of Captain America. The only reason they're physically stronger than the MCU Captain America without power armor is because they are over twice the size. even then, they are only about half again as strong. Yes, it's already stated in the Overlord light novel, manga, and anime that the humans in that universe aren't normal humans. When reviewing their stats, you realize they're actually on par with Captain America. That's just the baseline normal human, which is considered level 2, children and infants being level one. So a space marine with armor has a speed that tops out around 65 to 70 miles an hour. A space marine without armor has a speed that tops out around 50 miles an hour. The MCU Captain America has a speed that tops out at 55 miles an hour (barefoot). So, space marines aren't as OP as the author is showing them. Also, they're not 100 times faster than normal humans. They were actually originally modeled after Captain America, just with some added things like spitting acid thrown in. Captain America is supposed to be a basic frontline super soldier. Space Marines are supposed to be that plus extra heart, extra acid, other things. At twice the size.

Iranians and Persians are not Muslims. Muslims are Arabic and Bedouin. The stories featuring Aladdin and the magic lamp and the genie we're added into the Arabian nights. With many other stories by Christians. The Arabs had nothing to do with it. There are no Arabic stories in Arabian nights. The cultures in the original story of the genie and Aladdin are Chinese, Buddhist, African tribal cultures, and Persian cultures. None of them worship Allah.

The word for a female Sultan is Sultana. Why did you have them say a prayer to Ala? They are Persian, not Muslim.

That's not how children work. They would immediately fight, and he would take it back by force.

Does anyone remember the name of the author so I can look them up to see if they have a new book somewhere else?

Yeah, it's a thing in the lore. At least until GW changes their mind. Something they do often. After all, most of their writers and executives don't know anything about the franchise. They usually go to X or some other social media platform and cross-reference the most vocal people. Who apply with localizers and game reporter and media rags to try and hire people to change or add to the lore, which usually just gets them activist. The executives and current writers were never, what is called nerds. Today, they are executives who spent their career and education in law school or business school. They don't know anything about the genre. A lot of modern companies are like that. This is why video games have gone downhill so quickly. As well as other entertainment genres. Disney comes to mind. A lot of companies are started by people who are invested in the genre because they enjoy it and find it to be great entertainment. They, however, never stay in charge of the companies. Once they go public, old money, families, and high finance groups. Invest in them, seizing control, they push to have individuals placed on the board of directors or in the executive controlling systems of the companies. These individuals, they place in charge. Come from law school and business school. They have not, nor will ever, really be knowledgeable or invested in the actual genre. Which is why after they come into power and start taking control, the companies go downhill. They're hiring, who they see as the most vocal. Who is across-referenced with what they think, gives them valid input into the genre. Unfortunately, these are companies that do game journalism or localizers. For foreign entertainment groups. These individuals tend to be activists, not actually invested in the genre itself. They just see it as a medium to push forward. Whatever agenda they have. The only way to stop this from happening is for the people who start the companies to break the IP and make everything public domain. However, they won't do that because of basic greed. After 10 or 15 years in their company, they always want to retire millionaires or billionaires. They do this by essentially taking their cash in prizes and leaving after the company goes public.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not ragging on the chapter. I'm ragging on your idea of what is a good designed chip esthetic. Early Alteran designs had an organic feel to them. their descendants, the Atlanteans lost all esthetics. Let's merge a Daedalus class warship and a guld Al'kesh, and see what we get?

Speeding things up like that actually sounds good to me. After all, he is a soldier. His purpose is to achieve the objective. anything he achieves along the way is just icing on the cake.
