Of Course. Even if no other country gets involved, 'dropping enough nukes to turn all american soil into glass' is still enough to block out the sun, because of all the dust clouds forming in the air, which will turn the earth cold, which will cause nuclear winter. Therefore it is an empty threat. But you don't gamble with such subjects and make assumptions. And it is also unwise to assume your opposition is not crazy enough to actually follow through with his threat, regardless of the consequences. There is also the fact that Rhyne now knows his oppositions intentions and would want to silence him for that. Generally when you issue an empty threat and an actual threat you assume both are real threats. Politics basically. That is what is going on here.

I probably did not express myself as good as I hoped. Here is me laying it on thick just so everyone is on the same page: - 1 son died in an Arasaka-mercenary skirmish - 2 were killed by Nexus in his purge - 1 was killed in a petty gang rivalry. So a total of four of her sons died. Sorry for the inconvenience.
They did not heed her counsel and made dumb choices. They made dumb choices and died for it. Simple. If not by Nexus' hand then they would have died at someone elses hand. As her third son did. He pissed of the wrong gang rival for a perceived insult and got killed afterwards. - AFoxyScriptwriter7mthCommentedNexus jumped down on the ground, reappearing on the hill, his sword dripping with blood, not a single speck of metalic sheen to be seen. He kneeled down, hundreds upon hundreds of plug-cables elongated themselves and shot towards the AVs. The AVs tried to fly away, after seeing all their comrades dead and these cables approaching them. The cables were faster however and slammed into the AVs. The AVs spiralled out of control. Some flying straight into the ground, some into each other, but all of them exploded.

I might have expressed myself poorly. When she was 23 she was a medical student. Obviously she is like 40 now at this point in the story.

Author here. I want to give some info about this fanfic. This is purely for entertainment purposes and for fun, that I write this fanfic. I have no intention whatsoever in making money off of this. English is my second language, so you can expect some grammatical mistakes here and there, especially punctuation. I have my own life, so generally you should not expect chapters on weekdays. On weekends you can expect 2-3 chapters. Even if I never finish this Fanfic, you can rest easy knowing I WILL finish each installment/ worlds. The Cyberpunk universe will definetely be finished, it is merely a matter of time and chapters. I will try to make the plot coherent, but you need some knowledge of the various universes, otherwise some things will fly over your head. I want to and WILL employ subtetly or at least I'll try to. I am not G.R.R.Martin or another great writer. so I can't tell how well I'll succeed. Constructive criticism is appreciated. Peace

Nexus' appearance.
Heavy footsteps echoed in the hall as a figure emerged from the fog. He had a black mask with neon orange eyes and over his head he wore a hood. The scav wasted no time in trying to kill him and started shooting the SMG. The neon eyed man used his double edged sword to deflect all bullets. Jackie suspected a sandevistan. Soon enough the bullets run out and the hooded man was upon the scav pinning his head between his boots and the concrete, but not killing him. - AFoxyScriptwriter10mthCommented
