Np, I've read up to ch80, please humble the main character
This is a really good book and I urge the author to keep writing. The writing quality is exceptional and the author does a great job in drawing out the characters and fleshing out their motivations. The pacing is pretty good though I've only read up to the end of the free chapters (~35?) so its subject to change. Even the non-combat related chapters are enjoyable as they're pretty integral in developing who the mc is. The world background is also really great, and its very different from other novels. Overall, its great but I hope in later chapters, we're able to fully visualize what the tower is and how does it work.
I've read up over 350 chapters and I must say this book is getting ridiculous. Firstly the writing quality is very good, almost admirable compared to the garbage of the platform. The stability of updates is good as well. In regards to the story development, I think the book started off with good intentions but it quickly spiraled out of control. The arc with him training at the Moonlight mansion was ridiculous. It was as if the author completely abandoned the power scaling which is something gets repeated throughout the book. The main character consistently beats people multiple ranks above his own. It would've been more plausible if he used his intellect and wit, no that never ends up happening. The author also tries to develop multiple plotlines that intertwine, but it can get very confusing and honestly, I feel like the author could have done more with less. Too many people got ulterior motives and plot feels super forced with unbelievable scenes such as the examination arc where the second years and third years fight. I feel like the author came up with that to flesh out the plotholes but never considered how it would playout in the long run. The character design is alright, like I said theres too many side characters that are either super shallow in their personalities or are way too invested in. Overall, I'm unsure how this book has such high ratings, I do notice a suspicious amount of accounts leaving reviews for the sole purpose of boosting the average rating. I would hope this isn't the case, but I do think this book was somewhat a waste of time
Pretty good book, I really enjoyed the characters and I feel the character and their motivations are pretty clear. One flaw, I find is that the writing can be a bit soulless. The writing is good, however, the interactions between two characters are a bit stale and everyones trying to be a nonchalant. I wished the main character would show a bit more character. Though to be fair, I've only read up to the end of the free chapters
Highly enjoyable novel. Excellent writing quality. Great character creation and development. This book is arguably one of the better novels on this platform in terms of writing quality and plotlines.
Mc murdered Weish's brother
That's the third time you repeated the phrase
Honestly, it's just bland. I wasn't even going to read it but for the sake of the Daily Recommendation Fastpast, I felt compelled to do so. The writing quality is just so bland. There's just no description, no vitality, nothing that can spark up the writing. The author just writes things in, but doesn't take the effort to describe or elaborate on the topic. Maybe, my expectations are unfounded, judging by the incredibly high average rating on the novel, but I find it unbearable. Regarding, character design, story development and world background, I really have nothing to address. Writing quality surmounts all redeeming qualities of this novel. Evenmore, most of these characters feel ingenuine.
