Knew it! Most ppl with misfortune in novels are more often than not the product of some stupid god/god assistant mistake. Authors for some reason just run out of ideas like why are you an author then if all you do is copy and paste??

The party, which was supposed to be very lively, was very quiet at the moment, and the atmosphere was so heavy that everyone was very careful. There was an invisible stiffness in the air. I was going to hide out at the party so that even if Nick found me, he wouldn't be able to do anything to me. I can guarantee my safety before the Royals leave. When the Royals and guests left my pack, I could slip away with their maids. But the party is clearly not what I expected. She's extremely pathetic to say the least. If I were her i would hate the father and the step sister. The only thing that would fuel my hunger for survival would be the mother's words and my hate for the pack. If you really wanted to live and be healthy , you wouldn't wait for your prince charming to come, and save you and then realize you have power and blah blah blah. You'd use your spare time to read, to be better than others. You tell me you train harder but you're still as weak as a human; that right there is BS. You'll train till you can't lift your fingers, till your heart wants to burst out of your chest. You'd take risks since your life couldn't get worse. You'd work yourself till you had a nosebleed waiting and working towards the day you'll get to slap ur step sister hard. That's the power of hate and it's not what I'm seeing rn. I already know where the plot is going and tbh, I'm not surprised 😮💨

A dear advice for you. Never, I repeat, never read Chinese drama novels. The hierarchy (3rdyoung master, 1st cousin, 2nd cousin of aunt yaya from mom's side and blah blah), the excess use of foul language is too much. If you're not okay with the words then just leave the novel. Maybe, it's because of my country's culture and norms but I find their actions and thoughts veryrude
