He is interested about visiting Konoha, he just isn't tied to his goals of protecting Konoha, meaning he is free from whatever task has given system him as it won't give him any penalty. But he will have more interaction with og characters of Naruto and he will try to complete this mission as to fulfill Nagato wish, and to increase the power of his summoned crew in future. It was written in such a way that he doesn't cares about what happens to the task assigned by system, so that he won't look like a system slave, that has to fulfill every task of system, without enjoying much. But he does care, as it was Nagato wish and he can get additonal power in future, also if task is completed he can go to more new worlds.

It would be more boring for reader too if he remained in One Piece world, as he is now a little too OP and as for Carnes, he has taken revenge with some of the people who had wronged him. But he also been in One Piece for many years first living his entire life without the system and now again back in the sea. Also, this world travel won't be for nothing as he would even get more powerful subordinates from the system and the world he travels if he wants to recruit someone there.

Yeah, there will be many changes in the world he goes.

MC himself will take revenge against those who had directly betrayed him, his crew will help him when he deals with Kaido and Big Mom, but Mc will be the one to finish off his main enemies.

It has been, I have been working on two chapters, so it took some time.

He uses it because of something that happened between him and roger in past, you can read it in future chapters. It isn't cannon since mc is a reincarnator, you will basically see the history of that attack, like how it got developed and when did roger started to use it.

It's not much of a filler chapter just rather chapter with OC, as I have said it is a slow-paced novel, but things do get interesting after a few more chapters.
