Absolutely loved this book. I have a copy irl so I'm writing the review here as I think it would be fun. The book has unique pacing and introduces a lot of characters near the beginning in a way that doesn't overwhelm the reader. The main character, Xie Lian is a prince of a ruined land (destroyed by the white-clothed calamity) but despite this, he keeps on his facade of being fine - I recommend reading the book simply for his lore as it is just that good!! The other main character (Hua Cheng or crimson rain sought flower) is a ghost king who is able to summon spirit butterflies as one of his abilities. The world background is very detailed and personally, I find it beautiful Would recommend if you like slow burn too, the characters Xie Lian and Hua Cheng noticeably have a lot of chemistry together [img=recommend]

from chapter 3, The story is quite fascinating, it uses the form of dungeon (raids) leveling to hint at some things that have happened in the world. The story doesn't push anything onto you but rather describes scenes with full detail, this can be troubling to read at times but it's done in a way to keep you captivated. The main character (Mike) is hinted to have quite a dark backstory, the writer has chosen to not go into detail on this topic, presumably, I think they are waiting for a later update to go into detail about it. Overall, would recommend it if you like the fantasy vibe! the other main character (Killian) can manipulate comet moths? (i think, the author hasn't explained that yet so that's my theory lol)
