Gave it a shot but didn’t make it far. The very first fight against bandits, you said the bandits were stronger. Which is why the MC saw a couple of her comrades killed already. Then she proceeded to take on a huge group of them without an element of surprise. Completely one sided in how she killed them, only to look over and watch her comrades struggle together to handle a few bandits. Lost me after that.

I didn’t know this was going to turn into a cultivation story. The stor is okay, but the mc is one dimensional with no personality. Having lived his whole life being looked down on, the moment he gets powers like everyone else, he goes from playing the hero to playing the villain in the blink of an eye. All the while never showcasing a personality. This made the story fall flat and became uninteresting, because you longer care why he wants to learn about runes.
