Ahhhh I understand. Yeah Sasuke will definetly get smarter, I just think it's very in character for Sasuke to be confident in fighting the target of his revenge. like the very first time in part 1 where he sees Itachi and acts like he could have killed him lol. He won't be quite so dumb the next time.

Thank you for the 5 stars🫡 before writing the story I didn't plan on including any Naruto characters besides Sasuke, but as I've gone on I've seen it adds to the story a lot. There is even more to come. my first addition of Deidara and Sasori was mainly cause I realized OCs would be boring in comparison for the events of Chapters 15-19

The next chapter is mostly complete, I've just been enjoying the Elden Ring DLC a little too much. I have worried about if Sasuke comes off as dumb at all this arc, can you explain how he seems like he isn't using his brain?

they are modeled after the Rinnegan and Mangekyo, but they are not actual Dojutsu like in Naruto. The quirk is still Susanoo. think of Susanoo like Eri's quirk. it's expressed visually through her horn, even though the ability doesn't come from it directly. Sasuke is the same in the sense that the red eyes is just a visual mutation that activates when his quirk is used, but it doesn't do anything. I just included it as a cool nod to how Suanoo functions in the original story.

I personally think that even if the hit landed in the anime that it would have been a low power hit. it being a person he's hitting helps him restrain a lot in character.
