I'm 200 chapters in and there is one huge inconsistency, they mention that the world is in a post-apocalyptic state. According to many people there is a "border" between monsters and civilization, but currently there has been no fights against monsters. The only instance in which the MC fights a monster is at the beginning and even then its mentioned later on that it was a tamed beast. So far its all conspiracies between human powers, royal families, corrupt politicians, criminals, etc. The MC just goes on missions to clean up human society, there is no trips to the wilderness to push back the border or explore the rest of the world, which according to his teachers has been taken over by strong monsters. I thought after the firearms army ark, it would change but its more conspiracies, royal families, school competitions. I don't know if it changes later on, but for now i'm going to drop it.

I hope the author doesn't rush the ending soon after connecting both reality and game.

So its basically all in-game until chapter 555?. I only read the titles of the chapters but if so then its one hell of a build up. Im going to give it a pass for now.

The MC is an idiot, first he says he needs to keep his talent rank a secret than in the first chapters he thinks about telling everything to his friends. Then later on he is exposed by another "friend" who he met one day before and just shrugs it off. Seems to me like the MC is trying to act cool and be forced to show off.

It was all good and interesting until chapter 370 - 380. For some reason the author seemed not only rushed but also started to insert nationalistic propaganda. Its like someone came in and replaced the author, grabbed the original author's notes and started writing a scripted version of the novels outline(or the author got forced into writing something else, which is why he decided to ruin the novel). It was going nice and smooth, every upgrade had its reason and its build up. But out of nowhere a sudden war with the "west" starts, the MC's identity gets revealed, new op characters get introduced out of nowhere, and for some reason most of the op characters from the MC's side get killed, so as to give the MC more pressure.

im up to chapter 900, and so far its passable. No harem, only single person romance. There isnt that much faceslaping, but the MC is ruthless enough, kills if he needs to and takes revenge when wronged. I have seen pple leave a review saying its racist, but its mostly the MC and those arround him fighting for resources for their own country. As for enemy countries, so far its just india, who dont have that much and are willing to do anything to grow, so naturally they come into conflict with MC. The same thing happens inside of huaxia/china they fight and scheme for resources. So far ive only seen one instance of racism/nationalism and if the author meant it to be propaganda saying huaxia is the best then he failed. The MC's enemies(from huaxia) do much worse on to the MC. I have read novels with real racism were they enslave everyone or author makes all other countries seem evil without any reason and kills them all off.

I dont know whether to start reading or not, i can see that there havent been any new chapters in a while. Was this dropped by the author or is it on pause/break?

The story was quite interesting, it draws you in and makes you want to keep on reading to see how it develops. Its all good until you start noticing the weird "pet names" they have for their enemies. At first you think they might be calling their neighboring countries BARBARIANS becouse the had a misunderstanding in the past. But as the story progresses, it goes from a posible misunderstanding to a deadly feud, and its not just neigboring countries its every country. RACIST TO THE MAX. If you want to promote nationalism there are better ways to do it without coming on as complete racists and xenophobic. But no, they kill off everyone else, they MC has the ability to revive everyone but nope they dont deserve it, not even the women and children, guess they are potencial BARBARIANS.
