He has feelings but people are overlooking the fact and someone is blaming the author for expelling Airi but I really believe that Ayanokoji is just making a rational decision it's really common sense that you would expel the lowest ranked student as he/she will be useless

It's nice to see Ayanokoji likes this again it reinforces the idea that he is the same charcacter but I do like his character development as he has become more human like dating an individual, making friends and even the way he conversates has changed a little bit. I still think this is the right decision and any rational person would have done this.
