The city building is finally here and I’m all for it.

The rare story on webnovel with good writing and a main cast that has sensible characterisation. Still early goings, but a very promising story so far.

Was there maybe a minimum word or viewership requirement that wasn’t met?

Well written, cohesive storytelling with a competent MC, and supporting characters that both have agency and aren’t frustrating to read about. A system that makes sense, with promising setup for good fantasy worldbuilding as well as the city/kingdom-building that drew me to this at first. I do wish the story got to that point faster, but the pacing was still fine overall and no event feels dragged out for the sake of it. Every chapter serves some purpose in the story which moves things further, which is enough for me. So far, what little we’ve been shown about the new world, and how it has been portrayed in the story, I think gets across the idea of this place being completely alien to the Terrans really well. The execution of every plot beat up until now gives me hope for the city-building that’s finally happening. Really looking forwards to seeing where this one goes. Good writing, likable main characters, good worldbuilding, what more to say?
