Not a bad start! The world building makes this interesting and the plot is definitely intriguing. Definitely update more often! Looking forward to seeing how this story pans out in later chapters :)

That's definitely a fair feeling to have! Axel is more of a strong to weak character - he started out stacked but then lost almost all of it after the seal got put on. So as he works back up to being a stronger character, he will have much more power than he ever did before! But this will happen over the course of several high level battles. And the sword thing is a bit intentional due to something revealed later ;)

It's a perspective shift :) Axel is the main POV, but this Tory falls all of his group of slayers. Since they all split up to take on different Seraphs, this group of chapters is following Jun/Ryo as they fight their way to a Seraph. Once that fight is over, the story will flip back to Axels group.

What a read so far! You can definitely tell the author too their time in planning on the structure of the society as well as the connections between each character. Nothing feels inorganic. This story will definitely bounce you around in a range of emotions - one minute you're chasing for the MC and the next you're pissed off at one of her family members. Great job so far and I hope you update even more!!

Blood oath protected the lover from sudden death, but their ending was tragic, with one dying of illness without a spirit and the other becoming a lunatic. Many such lovers preferred to die together.
