the novel is good but I think it's going too fast and mc hasn't gone through any failure and gets stronger then anyone he fights, i feel like he should also lose,(maybe not lose but come to self realisation or something along the lines) so their could personal growth,it will give more depth to the characters,maybe you should also slow down a little and go in a little bit more detail...(personal opinion)

the only way i can think of a villain not being completely evil is like eren from AOT,while his actions were very bad ,it was the only way Eldians will live; which leaves the whole world gray(no one is good no one is bad)...so it's just a matter of perspective(Not sure if this is what has been said here)
