Never said they lacks any depth, just that the author was conplaining about lotm character lacking depth, and if tou compare both- yea this author spouting bullshit

Yo ho the comments were intresting, definately more enjoyable then this garbage infuriating novel, man i liked this novel so much, i read around 1100 chapters in a week only to be disappointed, i was hoping mc would shine now, or maybe next chapter, next arc but no, the background and lore is great but damm these characters are so annoying, sunny makes so many dumb decesion just for the sake of it when he was suppose to be cunning as seen in the first nightmare, but meh that walking plot armour girl is nothing but trash, she just becomes strong without any explanation, all we are given is “she has gone through this and now she is this strong”, and her flaw has never played any part of all these chapters, it has never hindered her, maybe around one time in 2000 chapters and to top all of this- the girl who betrayed sunny, sunny came crawling back to her and that betrayal part was never talked about again, supposedy her planning his death is fine 🤷🏻 and this dosent even end there, she then again planned to make the mc fateless which will remove him from being slave but he will be removed from everyones memories and she goes with it, witheld the information and sunny never does anything about this again. Such a great world building, lore, power system only to be ruined by all the characters and the authour making mc suffer without proper reward, i will probably read another brain rot novel rather then something so infuriating, cant beleive it was this novels author who was clowing on lord of mysteries lacking depth, make him look like a “clown” in my eyes

The novel starts of good, tye power system and te lore are also quite unique, i really liked the first arcs but aftwr that its getting infuriating to read, I have many left very salty over this because i read around 1100 chapters in just a week but the major problems i have with this are 1) The pacing, all the arcs are so strecthed, they should have ended but tye author keeps on dragging them. 2) The main character- he dosent even feel like the main character at all, ness is more like mc, he dosent get any shine at all, barely few moments here and there and thats it. 3) Again with the mc, even after becoming he lacks the backbone, he let everyone walk over him, he becomes dumb whenever ness and cassie are invovled, He repeatedly makes dumb decesions. 4) Ness- she is nothing but bland walking plot armour, she gets strong without any explanation, its like - she has gone through this and now she is this strong, and on the top her flaw has literally never made a difference, in all the chapters i have read, her flaw only hindered her once even thats not heavily, while on the other hand mc has everything built around his flaw, far too unbalanced; 5) And another case with cassie, when she betrayed the mc, all mc did was ignore her for some time and then came crawling back, when they come together again all the betrayal part was just forgotten, nothing ever mentioned again; its so f-ing annyoing, the author made the mc go through torcher but never reward for that are never ever equal, there are too many side characters who lacks any form of depth While this novel has so many points i dislike it also many good things which forced me to read in hopes this gets better (it never did) like the world building, lore, power system, decent villains

This is going too fast man, you need to go into more detail, expanding on the atmosphere scenery, with the mc trying to think of some kind of corelation with the novel he read (maybe fail, but still try), there are so many things that need more explaination
