Rip this novel. The author hasn’t posted any new chapters for months. I don’t know whether the author dropped it or has some issues but it’s such a shame we likely won’t be able to further read this

Laine could at any moment unleash the Apophis death concept blade to truly kill a deity of Chaos and rapidly evolve the concept of death to overtake life but it would utterly break the samsara well’s balance. Author pls be alive and make more chapters.. it’s been months since they last uploaded

I love how Demeter of all people suddenly became enlightened and questioned why Uranus was given the immensely strong authority of fatherhood / masculinity but Gaia wasn’t given squat with the weak authority of fertility. Even though Chaos is a high tier quality world with its deities naturally being immortal and undying in comparison to the Norse/9Worlds and Egypt/Hemenu myth fellas there’s still areas where Chaos is inherently flawed and lacking in areas. The most blatant examples being the inequality of the elements, darkness being overwhelmingly stronger than light because that’s just the way it is in Chaos, Water and Fire dominate over wind and Earth. (Life and Death too wouldn’t have been able to compare if not for Laine’s shenanigans with Kronos along with Chaos accidentally killing Eros in the womb in an attempt to snuff out Laine) Lightning too wouldn’t be able to compare if not for Zeus making use of the divine king’s authority to slowly “expand the concept” of it to eventually make it seen as a symbol of heavenly power.

Also I’m really hoping for an eastern myth world to come in soon, many references and quotes relating to it like ‘beneath the saint all are ants’ or the earthly python thinking about making Heracles attempt to ‘prove the way by slaughter’ to see if he could achieve godhood via it. Hell the author even seemingly brought in some Harry Potter references with the philosophers stone / stone of eternal life and the elder wand made from 2 of the 3 fates. Would love to see what comes next if not for the author having last uploaded several months ago according to the official site qidian..

No deity up to this point has actually been a truly good deity except for Prometheus. Gaia might be part of that, all she ever wanted was for her children to love her but they pushed her away and made her turn into a raging grandmother. Kronos provoked her for literally no reason, all he had to do was release his monstrous siblings from Tartarus and Gaia would basically forever be his ally but nope he didn’t because he found them ugly lol..
