This guy, for sure. He'd make a great protector - as long as he got paid.
Which leads to a simple conclusion: taking on Aang alone would be idiotic. I need a team—preferably a well-rounded one. And where exactly am I supposed to find that, with only six months to a year left, according to my most pessimistic estimates?

Well, it's just a matter of shaping a small jet of compressed and concentrated fire into a blade shape – it's like a laser beam – firebenders should have this ability. The potential of this is incredible.
Damn—if my favorite dagger were in my left hand right now, I might've been able to slip a strike into that briefly exposed side. But no such luck… it hadn't survived the last training session, and my master had promised to forge me a new one later. Besides, I wasn't even sure my left hand should be holding anything—using firebending with a weapon in hand was far harder than doing it unarmed.
