Despite Chad being defeated, this time I felt that Ichigo's words regarding him carried much more weight. I understand that in the lore, the idea is to show that the invaders are not invincible, by having the guy who is supposedly the strongest of the group be the first to be defeated. As for Yato's fight, I like the way he acts in combat. He barely talks, doesn't engage in unnecessary power exposition, and even the way the fight ended with his defeat, I could interpret Tosen's actions in various ways.At the same time that Tosen is showing 'mercy' to the 'deceased' Yato, it can also be interpreted that he considers Yato a threat to Aizen's plans, or that Aizen himself may have ordered Tosen to do that.
Thanks for the chapter dude.I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but have you ever thought about creating other stories like this, where you insert a character of your own into an existing universe, or have you thought about your own story?
I really enjoyed the chapter for the way the characters acted in the fight. Yato seems like a guy who doesn't mind playing dirty in this kind of fight, which, in that situation, would actually be a smarter move. I also liked the small changes in Ichigo's fight, it gave us more insight into how the characters perceive the MC. Tatsuki's fight was exactly what I expected, and I thought it was cool that the author included the names of the stances (maybe because I'm a fan of combat styles and enjoy fighting games xD). Keep up the good work.
From what I've read, the author has already explained the stances. I think the only ones that weren't clear were Ashi Barai and Yoko Geri. Like:Gyaku Zenkutsu Dachi = Step forward. Gyaku Tsuki = Straight Punch Mae Giri = Front Kick Ashi Barai = Leg sweep (kind of like a trip) Yoko Geri = Spinning Kick Jodan Tsuki = Punch to the face or forehead."
So far, MC is roughly on the same level as Ichigo, so I don't think it would be Kyoraku, or else the MC would just be swapping places with Chad in terms of who gets defeated. Maybe the MC will fight against Hisagi or Hitsugaya.
Technically, the MC's fullbring could do something similar, so I don't think his zanpakuto has the power to copy. Based on what the author has written so far, it's probably a fire zanpakuto.
The writing style is quite enjoyable and very easy to understand.Mc's personality and the way he thinks are very interesting making certain attitudes much more realistic. Despite having the potential to become an absurdly powerful being, he is in no rush to become strong, preferring to use the knowledge he already possesses to his advantage. The personalities of the manga/anime characters did not change, which makes the MC's interaction with them more interesting and plausible, because as the MC is not from this world, he questions things that normally the characters would not question. The only problem I have with this story is the updates, but according to the author, the story was made with the intention of passing time so it's not something I'm going to complain about. Keep up the excellent story.
Okay, now this story has my attention
