Not the biggest fan of where the story is heading. This dude has a lot of plot armor. A bunch of sealed abilities and past is cool and all but he gets bailed out which isn’t a deal breaker but it isn’t great either. The face slapping…eh, just typical trashy scenes that doesn’t really add anything to the story. First with the cousin and at his examination, back to back. Now there are weird rules that he has to go to the military to bypass, even after showing his capabilities, not a fan of that either. Apparently he can just take out loans from the system? That would be fine if he has to pay it off first before getting another but he can just have a tab open, what’s the limit to this? Also it’s stated that using ice magic permanently decreases his Qi and he’d need to cultivate or consume cores to recover…why not just use Ice Qi Techniques then instead of Ice Magic that is finite? The choices and decisions are just off-putting to me and I’m also not the biggest fan of the MC’s personality, but that’s my own preference rather than a reflection of the rating for this review. This novel is fine but not particularly interesting or captivating either.

Now she's back to 5 Ci instead of 7. Is it really that hard to keep track of? Put it in a spreadsheet bro.

too bad it is anime specific. It would be hilarious if a "Demonic' entity styled version of the Chaos Gods ruled there instead of their WH40k lore of being Warp-based life forms. Would add to the uncontrollable aspect on Zeref's part of being failures. Their Curses could be based off their counterpart like Rot, Excess, Murder/War, etc. Obviously idk how you would scale it, but probably not to the ridiculous degree of WH40k.

Strength can also mean overall power, but it gets confusing with an actual Strength stat, so the author should probably be more specific.

Then what would be Imu or Joyboy? God King?
