Hasn't anyone heard of a phone around here!?
What about a Casserole?
Actually, no, silence is never a confirmation. Even if it's implied by the silent, you should never treat it as such.
This isn't a trial. There are no legal barriers to evidence being presented against you, because you aren't being charged with a crime. You're just losing your job.
You should be fleeing, man.
Maybe Elijah isn't the one who did the curse... but Crimson Tyranny did.
This isn't how American Government works, by the way. Executive Leaders chose their staff to serve at their pleasure: any confirmation hearing that occurs with Congress would be largely a formality. In extreme cases, confirmation hearings are used to attempt to destroy the nominee's reputation. With enough pressure, they will either get the nominee to step down or the executive to withdraw their support. However, this is a corruption of the process and more a sign that the Republic is failing than anything else. The only real solution to unelected Bureaucrats welding too much power is to eliminate their positions. You can't save a corrupt Bureaucratic Agency, no matter how much you believe in the mission statement or the integrity of the people you put in charge of it. Once an agency has gone too far, it must be removed. Voting on Functionary Positions is a terrible waste of time and abuse of Legislative authority.
This is kinda Bizarre, considering how little power Republicans have in Chicago: a city so far left that it makes an otherwise Republican State lean Democrat in most modern elections. The author shouldn't use words like Republican and Democrat if he's trying to say that Executive Authority is given to a Council instead of a single Official. (Except in times of crisis, for this case.) You're jumbling up political terms.
What about a Tier 4 True Mage who crafted his own Mana Circle without a System Tome?
Bah, you simply adjust the rate when lending to a risky loanee. Then you operate based on scale. It's pure profit. Bank Loans are soft slavery: they will never vanish as long as people value comfort and instant gratification over responsibility and freedom.
Leaving an induction Oven on would probably be way more expensive than gas: gas can run out. Electric keeps stacking up and is typically much more expensive for the same amount of heat produced. Nevermind a gas oven gets you to the heat you want much much faster and more evenly.
Which is converted to +20% Wisdom, right?
Level isn't his best ability. He needs Wisdom based abilities
When did he get a new sword?
You have to kill the curse maker... who you don't know yet.
Kinda, but also... not really. Still, losing your friends and so many is hard.
Why? I don't get it. Who owns the gate? Aren't you allowed in before it's claimed? Who claimed it?
so much for team 5. He isn't going to get allies at this rate.
