Honestly, I thought that the story was pretty good, and I was invested in it, but if you feel as if it wasn't good that's understandable, I'll be checking out the reboot since I enjoy the chapters you put out, and it'll probably be good.

I'm really enjoying the characterization of Clark here. The way you portray his self-doubt feels very genuine, he's not scared or turning toward evil, but clearly struggling with feelings of powerlessness. Despite all his incredible abilities, he is tormented by the thought that he still can't help as many people as he would like, I appreciate that you've avoided taking the easy route of having him turn into a cynical, brooding killer.
Lois offers him a sad, knowing smile that pierces straight through to his core. "Maybe you can't literally soar over skyscrapers anymore. But the heart that made you Superman, the unmatched compassion and drive to lift others up?
