The way you wrote this chapter lets me think that ingenium gave it his all to save her and even ignored the damage to his body "like a true hero". It felt like he wasnt even thinking about not saving her but in the end failed bacause he didnt have enough time and not because he wasnt determined enough to basically cripple himself. What i want to say is he couldnt do it any faster and he still failed and that lets me think that this was a mistake in the trap or the timer. Besides i think the other guy is right, uwabami didnt get the trial she deserved. It wasnt fair, she wouldnt have learned anything even if she survived because she didnt need to do anything other than wait and hope. The only thing she would have gotten is a trauma. For lack of better words the chapter was a bit disapointing from what ive read before but its not like it cant be overlooked and everyone makes mistakes. Dont take it to hard.
