Interesting theory, but you ain't even close. I've got something a lot more thematically interesting in the oven. (I've made this volume's theme very, very obvious, even spelled it out a couple of times.) And when I said dominant, I meant more as in the new Malik is the one in control, since the old one finally got the "break" he wanted for so long. But still, it's safe to consider them the same Malik, as they shared everything with each other, their souls combined into one, and after this Embodiment is over, that'll be even more true.

I thought I made that obvious early on? The MC is both Malik's combined into one. But, his predominant soul is the new one, as the old wanted to rest.

He has secrets that'll surprise them big time. And a particular one that'll surprise you readers, I'm sure. But a secret lover? No way, kek. Layla would go batshit crazy.

I did read both, actually. Advent till like chapter 200 or so, and the other one I've read to completion. Don't remember much from the completed one but if it has similar concepts then I've likely been inspired by it without even knowing it.
