She snapped her fingers, and everything began to return to its original state. The messy living room turned into the tidy place it had been when Soran first arrived immediately. - Themythicalone1yrCommented After confirming the gnolls had all fled, Soran tossed the head away and sat on the ground while laughing like a maniac. The battle had only lasted ten or so minutes, but its intensity made his hands shiver. If the gnolls' morale had not plummeted, and they had continued to fight, he would have had to resort to using his special fighting style, which he did not like to use.

I really recommend this novel if you like action, comedy and gore. It starts a little slow, but you can tell itâs building the world around The Tv show really well. The story follows a man from our world who gets transported to The Boys universe via a magic gem. He escapes the lab, gets some revenge, creates new enemies and kills some pervs. Iâm currently on chapter 21 and it only seems to be getting better. The writer actually listens to advice and I can see in his writing how much better he is becoming. 100% a hidden gem.

Gnolls were not highly intelligent creatures, but they were not dumb enough to wait and get slaughtered either. Soran could still kill five or six of them if they chose to assault him upfront, but he had no choice but to move now that the gnolls attacked from the sides.

It was a gruesome and painful way to die that would haunt most people for their entire lives. For me, however, it was justice. At first, his eyes bulged and popped, and then his skull fractured and disintegrated under the pressure. Lastly, as I closed my fist, his blood and brain exploded across my face and covered the graffiti of Homelander above him, almost symbolically. Very soon after, his erratic movements were replaced with postmortem twitches, and the world had one less monster.
