I prefer the term witches and wizards as either a Titles like nobility or magical ranking system.

coz i dnt think his and her scenes needed 3 chapters all they did was flirt, fight and swim. I dnt mind their being a like interest but 3 chapters for said romance. the romance could be a foot note. BTW i do have a Romantic side but for adults. not children with the mentality of a Adult.

The thing that gets me is the protag CHOSE his circumstances. he was given options eg, Human, Monster/naiad, primordial or God. His Choice was Godhood. And has the cheek to complain about his choices.
