yes, but what I'm saying is that um aren't assassin's supposed to be perfect at controlling their emotions and facial expressions. You know for calm thinking and be able to react in time on required situations, and in that situation where he already given up on life, that kind of reaction was, um weird and uncommon for a person of his professional but if it's where a regular person then that reaction would be explainable anyway I don't know what you had in mind but I thought it would be perfect if you add a bit of realistic emotions in accordance to his past but that's just my opinion.

why are you making the MC a scaredy guy when his supposed to be an assassin, and for a person who's willing to die, he shouldn't be scared of anything since he has already accepted the possible outcome of his death so it's very strange for a person who was willing to die a minute ago getting scared now such people are usually not scared even if a monstrous beings wanting to kill them right there and then let alone a devil in an appearance of a young man doing a little bit of magic, surprised yes and quite possibly wondering how the process works but not scared that would totally contradict with you know

phew, thank goodness. I thought it would continue like that to the rest of the novel 😅 it was becoming burdening, seeing him couldn't come up with his own decisions and freely run the territory as it is usually in most kingdom building novels but it's reassuring if that's gonna change later on
