"so many hard times" shows he may have had an inability to cope with problems or daily activities. Having a feeling of disconnection or withdrawal from normal activities. Unusual or "magical" thinking. Excessive anxiety. Prolonged sadness, and depression or apathy. Also further emphasises his immense disappointment in the final chapter through reiteration.
My eyes wandered through the chapter until I reached the end. To be frank, the final chapter was very generic. It was disappointing, the novel that helped me through so many hard times had fallen so low as to endlessly dump power into the main character and give him barely any emotional growth. - freewin1yrCommented

great use of parenthetical action line to show a sign of his reflex and his long, deep breath that's similar to a normal inhale and exhale — but not quite the same. This shows that he may be in a state of emotional tranquility like stress or relief, but he may also have sighed without even noticing it.

"cruel twist of fate" may be a bit dramatic for a miniscule event like shown. However, great transition and introduction to the character.
If I could say one thing that differentiated me from the crowd was that I was an avid web novel reader, and in a cruel twist of fate, the finale of my favourite novel lined up with the day I was fired. - freewin1yrCommented
good word choice of conforming, great choice of name displays an excellent understanding of common isekai's, in which protagonists' are often korean.

The light novel demonstrates an established level of writing, incorporating description, detail, and dialogue to portray the character's lifestyle and way of living. It then actively displays the protagonist's initial shock to a novel-like world, but eventually dissipates the fear and goes on in his journey. Slightly cliche, as it is an Isekai, but it is as original as it gets.
