That's true, but the more powerful a cultivator is, the larger an effect their blood will have, meaning they will require less of it. At the very least, that will be the case for the weaker vampires. They will need less blood to increase their cultivation when compared to the amount Xue Yang had to use at the start. But there will be some more unique techniques, and using blood for attacks will be primarily a Xue Yang thing.

Personally (even though I'm a bit biased) I think it gets better as the story goes on. Like B0mbaCl0ck said nothing serious happens to the girls other than the first one, but there is more to it. I've foreshadowed some things to do with her but nobody seems to have realized it yet :c

It wasn't explained yet, but the restriction is lessened depending on the cultivation level. So, the MC can enter the homes of mortals and businesses owned by them with no problem. It's only the homes of cultivators and major clans/sects that he can't enter freely atm.
