I think more than physical factor it's the psychological factor that acts here. even though the body is Mo xuanyu's the soul belongs to Wei wuxian who's used to a certain things so this maybe a reason too. Similar kind of these things happen multiple personality disorder and stuff too so. I'm just guessing though

This is one of the best novels I have ever read. I literally have been sucked into this lore. I love the main theme of the storyline being that everyone has their own reasons and the I can't even hate supposed to villains, their stories make me weep literally. And the mastermind omg when I first read the novel and watched the show I was left stupefied and astonished. I never expected him to be the genius mastermind all along but during the second watch u can clearly see it was him. And each characters make you feel a whole lot of emotions both positive and negative (not those vile creatures called Wen Chao and Jin guangshan they deserve only disgust). I can go on forever literally. And wangji's love and devotion towards Wei wuxian always amazes me. And Wei Wuxian is such a genius dude, I will always remember Yanli's (Queen) words towards him. Anyway this book is a 5star
