For a novel in the early stages, this one shows promise. The author is building an interesting world with unique characters and a hint of mystery, I personally loved that reveal in the latest chapter. Looking forward to more chapters and watching the story unfold
Except he doesn't have that kind of power, yet, so making this whole preaching absolutely useless. Astra can do that, sure. Someone who controls a territory can solve things in many different ways, but for those who are at the bottom, there are other ways to keep people in check. That's how underground leaders come to be, after all. Even in less shady situations, children of the elite always get ahead with all sorts tactics. Astra is delusional if she thinks Vaan can solve things the same way she can. Either she helps him already instead of blocking him all the time, or lets him do his thing. This is ridiculous.
Yup, they're pushovers. They didn't do anything when 5 stronger mages ganged up on him to beat him up, and now they want to let Roland live because Vaan hit him. How pathetic
All these nobles from the Vesta family are naïve pushovers I swear. They've been openly bullying Vaan, Roland even dared to aim for his life and Seraphina wanted to turn him into a useless drug addict. They're all blind
That actually makes them blood-related, lol
I'll be honest, I'm not feeling the romance between these two. It started forced and subsequently, every interaction between the two of them felt forced. There's no way to salvage this romance because since the beginning, Vaan has had to act out of character to justify their forced romance. It's evidently clear that Elara is not compatible with Vaan and the only way they could ever be happy is if Vaan turned into a complete different person. He has already shown some growth, but teaching a lesson to people who openly look down on him is necessary if he wants to improve his reputation. He doesn't have to turn into some pretentious noble.
Don't waste your time with this. There's a character that literally makes the MC's IQ go down. Supposedly because her "luck points" are much higher than his, but this is actually a plot hole because previously, he had defeated a main character with a luck difference much higher than his and this policewoman who makes him stupid. If you like to get dominated by women and toyed with, then you might enjoy this. The MC acts like the typical Japanese beta MC. He's fine in the free chapters, but you literally just pay for one chapter and the MC's IQ lowers dramatically. He swears that he will kill that woman who toyed with him, but he spares her the first chance he gets. You might enjoy it only if you read the free chapters and stop right there, it gets so much worse when you start unlocking chapters.
Come on, man. Enough of Laylah, she sucks as a character. She's the queen of mary sues and annoying, plus she makes MC stupid. She's literally the worst kind of character you could possibly have in a novel.
He's a pathetic excuse of a man
Did the author have an aneurysm or something? What is going on
